Global Recognition for Ducere

Ducere Global Business School’s CEO Mathew Jacobson won this award for his continued leadership in disrupting the way higher education is designed and delivered. Under his innovative direction, Ducere’s revenue has grown year-on-year, increasing by an impressive 20%. Student enrolments are also up, increasing by 24%. All of this growth helps fund Ducere’s social enterprise, the Ducere Foundation, which helps improve local schools in over 25 African nations.

The US Congress recognised Mathew Jacobson for his outstanding and invaluable service to the community. Proceeds from Ducere Global Business School fund the Ducere Foundation which works tirelessly to improve the quality of public education in Africa.

The US state of California awarded Ducere Global Business School with the Economic Growth Award for its year-on-year economic growth and contribution to the education sector.

Ducere Global Business School was a finalist of the EdTechXGlobal All Star Awards. The judging panel evaluated revenue growth, scale, innovation and market impact. The EdTechX Awards are for education providers like Ducere who prioritise ‘purpose over profit’. The Awards recognise the positive economic and societal impact of education providers like Ducere is having on the world. Ducere is making an impact through the Ducere Foundation, which provides assistance to schools in 25 African nations.

Ducere Global Business School was a finalist in the Financial Review Higher Education Awards. The judging panel considered more than 100 entries, the most ever entered in the awards. Ducere was thrilled to be recognised as a finalist in these prestigious awards, which recognise innovation and achievement in Australia’s higher education sector.

The WISE Awards recognise and promote innovative projects from around the world that address global educational challenges. More than 413 projects applied for or were nominated for the WISE Awards. The Ducere Foundation was delighted to have been one of 12 finalists, recognised for its unique solutions to education challenges while making a positive social impact.
