Angela Toler is the Precedent Manager for the property group at leading Australian commercial law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler (ABL). Angela develops and manages the group’s precedent and knowledge management resources, ensuring efficient delivery of those resources to ABL’s property lawyers.
Angela undertook postgraduate studies before entering the legal profession as a property lawyer in 1992, working in Cambridge and London in the UK. After moving to Australia in the late 1990s, Angela qualified to practice in Victoria and became a senior associate in the property team of a large Australian firm. She took up her current position with Arnold Bloch Leibler in 2006.
Angela’s extensive experience means that she is ideally placed to understand the practical requirements of the lawyers that she services, and how best to deliver precedent solutions tailored to their needs. She ensures that the group has at its disposal a comprehensive range of accurate, clearly drafted, quality precedents and associated tools, and that these are presented in a consistent, professional manner and delivered utilising appropriate software solutions. She is responsible for the regular review and constant development of these resources and for ensuring that the groups’ knowledge; experience and best practices are captured, preserved and shared.
