Dr Robert Troy is an entrepreneur and former venture capitalist with expertise in asset management, business development and deal structuring. Among the high-profile Silicon Valley companies he has funded are SalesForce.com, a leader in social and mobile cloud technologies for sales and customer relationship management, and Zantaz, which made email archiving software.
Born in France, Troy moved to the US in 1994 and became a US citizen after a long career in Europe as an entrepreneur. He holds a doctorate in computer science from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France.
