Dr Hugh Bradlow is a South African-born electrical engineer and Doctor of Philosophy in Experimental Nuclear Physics. He is also the chief technology officer at Telstra, a position that makes him responsible for investigating future technologies and innovations that will help bring growth to the company’s business. Dr Bradlow was involved in an Australian first in 2011, when he gave a speech to an Adelaide business conference from more than 700km away in Melbourne via a real-time, life-size hologram.
Dr Bradlow’s role at Telstra has come after a distinguished career in academia, research, and technological innovation. Aside from his work with Telstra, Dr Bradlow also holds positions at the University of Wollongong and the University of Melbourne. He is a Member of the Australian government’s Cooperative Research Centres Committee and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
Regularly regarded as one of Australia’s most influential people in technology, Dr Bradlow has now joined Dūcere’s Global Leaders Faculty.
