Students critically analyse the fundamentals of strategy and the role it should play in business operations. Various strategic frameworks and concepts are evaluated for various organisational contexts conducive to fostering successful business outcomes.
The role of strategy in developing competitive advantage will be further examined, in order to frame the various ways in which strategy can drive growth and effectively increase business performance.
Students will formulate methodologies for managing strategic change to gain a comprehensive understanding of how, why and when to implement effective business strategy.

Students are required to reflect on their own experiences and biases to develop an understanding of how these influence their personal leadership style, as well as how they respond to the leadership of others.
Through engagement with challenging situations and the exploration of different leadership strategies in response, students will develop a new perspective on how they can personally lead teams more effectively and acquire new tools and techniques to achieve this goal.

Additionally, students will develop the skills to be able to effectively manage the organisational nuances resulting from digital transformation processes.

AI-Applied Industry Project
This module enables students to consolidate their skills, knowledge and insights into working with a group of student peers on a consultancy style global challenge, provided by a Ducere Global Industry Partner.
As such, in this module students will be introduced to case study research principles and methods in order to draw on their theoretical, conceptual and practical learnings derived from the modules studied in their programme. The aim of this module is for students to develop the practical and professional abilities to review business and management research with academic rigour, in order to develop a concept, solution or idea that has immediate practical application.
