This course is designed to give you, a senior business professional the opportunity to:

This module introduces you to what it means to be an entrepreneur, including the fundamental tools of the trade and the role of entrepreneurship, both as it has been and as it currently is operating.

Module 2: Digital Disruption

In this module, you will learn about the digital economy and the associated new breed of high-growth digital businesses. In addition to exploring the theoretical understanding of the differences between digital and physical organisations and the methods of developing and delivering value to customers, you will develop skills in identifying digital business opportunities, the risks for established organisations and will be able to design business models for digital organisations as well as adapt more traditional business models to suit the digital economy.

Module 3: Design Thinking

In this module, you will explore design thinking and why this modern business concept is useful and valuable to all kinds of businesses.

In particular, you  will engage with the design thinking process — from ideation through to evaluation — as well as exploring the role it plays in current businesses, the theory and philosophy behind design thinking, and the different approaches to design thinking. You will have an opportunity to apply your knowledge and will engage in a design thinking process for an existing organisation, or your own venture.

Module 4: Content Creative and Design Fundamentals

In this module, you will be introduced to the concepts and practice of digital content creation and web-based applications and their applied real-world implementation.

Developers of online content are required to administer connections that deliver timely and relevant subject matter to users in real-time across numerous digital channels and devices. This module aims to cultivate technical knowledge and skills in building and managing responsive and effectual web applications within a commercial digital content management system. By applying the principles of information architecture, applications are structured to coordinate assets for accessible and efficient digital delivery with a view to making technology unambiguous for the consumer.

PROJECT

Major Applied Industry Project

This module enables you to consolidate your  skills, knowledge and insights into:

1) Developing solutions to a real digital marketing opportunity identified within your own place of work, industry or start-up, or 

2) The creative exploration of a digital marketing opportunity  as a conceptual idea. The aim of this module is for you  to develop the practical and  professional abilities to apply the knowledge, skills and insights gained from the modules within your course.

Entry Requirements

96 New UCAS points or equivalent, e.g. from A level passes at A2 in at least 2 subjects, or from BTEC Extended Diploma or Diploma.
OR
International equivalents are set out in the International Blue Book, e.g. in the USA this could be a US High School Graduation Diploma with an overall average B*(or 80%/CGPA of 3.0/4.5).
